• Biography

I do not consider myself as a painter, but rather as fashion designer experimentating new paths, new ways of expressing myself by new techniques.

I use canvas as a revelation of my imagination, a free, spontaneous, unprepared transcription of my imaginary realm. I do not seek to show beauty, but to simply give a natural and personal rendering of what surrounds me, particularly of landscapes.

Born in 1973 in Cambodia, Lim Keo studied fashion at the Chambre Syndicale de haute couture in Paris - one of the oldest school of French fashions. I received my diploma in 2000. In 2004, I won the first prize at the international design Biennale in Saint-Etienne (France). In my clothing, I promote the natural resources of my native country, blending high fashion with pure.
