• Biography

THANG Sothea was born in Kompong Cham Province, Cambodia, in 1983.
He is a self-taught artist who began to paint in 2009.

He graduated from Norton University with a Bachelor Degree of Architecture and Urban Planning and was previously working in an architectural agency in Phnom Penh (2007-2010). In parallel to his artistic activities he continues to work, as a freelancer, on architectural projects.

In 2011, he opened his own studio-gallery in Phnom Penh, Top Art gallery.
