• Biography

Ronan Robert has become a key player in Brittany. He went with his accordion throughout France, Europe, Africa, Quebec, Asia, and Argentina during different tours with different formations.

With his state diploma of traditional music teacher, he taught for 10 years in various music schools before devoting himself mainly to the performing arts. He became a professional musician in 1988 in the Carré Manchot band, he then founded " Cocktail diatonique " with the participation of the accordionist Richard Galliano and Vertigo, Burn's duo, Tourmenté d’Amour, Morwenna ... His curiosity and open-minded to different musical influences led him over his meetings in 1993 to create " Les trois saisons ", a meeting between traditional musicians, jazz and classical, in 1996 " Ronan Robert Réunion " and in 2002 " Airs ". His taste for all art forms has led him to very different aesthetic.

Ronan Robert is interested in various forms of folk arts of his region, Brittany: dance music, songs, vocal arts ... More than repeating elements of the repertoire with his diatonic accordion, Ronan is constantly in a process of creating melodies, songs, shows.
