• biography

Born in 1985 in Paris. Her work is represented by Les filles du calvaire gallery in Paris.

Her work is apprehended as an observation of construction, deconstruction, relocation and driven identity. Photography rubs video, film, hybrid art and the use of new technologies, for example, giving rise to a collaboration with a team of researchers from the CNRS (IRCICA Laboratory) in 2012. Her exploration of the hybrid art has allowed the artist to use her own body as subject, through several works, including cellularly (2012), for which the artist has implanted a microchip that allows her to feel, remote, the presence of an absent body. Smith is currently pursuing research on identity in the context of a doctoral thesis.
