Born on the 23rd of August 1974

Experience:
2005 - 2012 Photographer for Agence France-Presse (AFP).
1999 - 2010 Freelance photographer for various publication and organizations, including: The Guardian News, Seattle times, UNESCO, UNDP, WFP, WORLD BANK, MPDF, VSO, PLAN, Cambodge Soir, Phnom Penh Post, and other international publications.
1999-2001 Chief of photo lab and trainer photography at Centre Culturel Français.

Awards:
2011 1st place prize “Maternal and Child Health” UNFPA & CCIM, Cambodia.
2002 Excellent prize: “The Joy of Sport” Asia/Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO, JAPAN.
2001 Excellent prize: “Clothes and People” Asia/Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO, JAPAN.
1995 2nd place prize: “Value of the woman” Women’s Media Center, Cambodia.

Education:
March 2000 Attended Photo-journalism course in Thailand, supported by the Indochina Media Memorial Foundation (IMMF).
1996-2001 Attended photography workshops at Centre Culturel Francais.
1995-1998 Completed Photography course at Royal University of Fine Arts supported by Association Arts Cambodge.
1988-1998 Attended Royal University of Fine Arts and completed Bachelor degree.
