• Biography

Formed at the initiative of Laurent Bardainne, saxophonist, keyboardist and composer, Poni Hoax is quickly spotted in 2006 with its first album (Budapest, She's on the radio ...).

The band surprises and affirms its position on the French and international stage. They have been successful thanks to their second LP, Images of Sigrid which include their single Antibodies. In 2012 they signed with Pan European Recording / Sony Music label. With 300 concerts given with their previous album, A State of war is recorded in a live studio configuration, an album for the stage, sensual and serious where music lightness and innocence is the perfect contrast to the texts depth and poetry.

A STATE OF WAR:

The third album deals with the childhood memories of Nicolas Ker, author and charismatic singer of the band. Born in Phnom Penh in 1970 from a French father and a Cambodian mother, he has lived his first years during the Cambodian war. In 1975 begins an exile worldwide that lasted until his arrival in Paris at the age of 16 years.

A State of War is an album focus on war, exile and return hope.
